Shirin is a classically trained artist based in Hampstead, London. Drawing of her training as a classical artists and through working with many mediums such as painting, metal etchings, Persian calligraphy, carving and silk screen printing, Shirin has developed her own unique style in the modernist abstract genre using a variety of mediums such as acrylic, pastels and oils on canvas and fabrics.
Shirin graduated from the Faculty of Arts of Al-Zahra University in in Tehran. She went on to gain gain a degree in Master of Research in Arts. Shirin embarked on a PhD course before deciding to shift her focus on practical application.
Shirin has had the opportunity to work with many of the great Persian artists such as Kazem Chalipa, Nasser Palangi, Majid Mehregan and Hossein Khosrojerdi.
