Alexander Serdiuk

Orienting towards a spot, rhythmic and compositional generalization, the artist avoids the sameness of his images varying the character of tone organization of his compositions as well as the intensification or weakening of the tone saturation in different parts of his artworks and in dynamic ratio of spatial relation either free or occupied by figurative line. It's inherent for Oleksandr Serdiuk to vary not only landscape or still-life motif but also the whole series of images which are composed into a unique visual text of existence, time and space. The artist's scenic stories are built with the help of exquisite lines that enclose picturesque surfaces, subordinate color, tone, composition and indicate painting as itself. They are perceived as highly nominative and pronouncing so that you can feel at once that the artist's work combines speech and writing on the consciousness level.

Graduated from Kharkiv Art School with honors in 2002, finished Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Fine Arts, Department of Monumental painting with honors in 2008, defended a diploma in the specialty Monumental painting, obtained Masters degree.
