Ipek Townsend

İpek Townsend is a multidisciplinary contemporary artist and photographer. She is mainly focused on abstract expressionism, works traditionally and digitally.

Her work ' Frequency Wires' won first prize in Focus on Photography 2022 in the Adult abstract category;
'Blackfriars Angle ' is Awarded highly commended The Adult Black and White in the Focus on Photography 2022 and
' Beautiful layers (of..)' Awarded highly commended in the Adult Stilllife in the Focus on Photography 2022

Received her Bachelor Degree from Marmara University, Teaching in the Art of Painting department in 1998, Major in Fine Arts.
After graduation she worked as designer in fashion and textile manufacturing companies in Istanbul/Turkey.
