Juan Siquier

Juan is a Spanish multidisciplinary artist driven by a deep search for beauty. His work reveals and exalts what he loves, capturing the essence of what often goes unnoticed and inviting us to find the extraordinary in the ordinary.

Though he has explored acrylic, watercolor, and drawing, oil painting is his main technique. He focuses on small-format works that, while appearing spontaneous, are crafted with meticulous precision.

Juan has developed his path in painting by exploring his own artistic language and vision, enriched by his experience in music and digital 3D illustration. In his early years, he learned the craft at the Taller de Artes Plásticas in Albacete and the Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid, drawing influence from his mentor Gustavo Ojeda, who revealed to him the deeper, more magical side of painting.

Since 1983, Juan has held several exhibitions, notably at the Museo de Albacete, where he was the youngest painter to exhibit at the time. He also showcased his work at Sala Estudio de J.A. Lozano and in the "CBC" exhibition organized by the Albacete City Council. During those years, he participated in numerous competitions and group exhibitions until he put painting on hold for a time to focus on music.

After a long break dedicated to digital 3D illustration, he returned to painting with two small-format acrylic exhibitions at Café del Sur in 2015 and 2020.
