Soraya Prieto

Soraya Prieto in Caracas, Venezuela. At a very early age, she begins her walk, through Painting. Her Work is essentially figurative, although in some cases she simplifies the figures in such a way that they drift towards organic natures in almost abstract forms. The Dreamlike element is manifest in her proposal, achieved by the association of contrasting elements, in some cases taken from dreams and objects that belong to the Artist's universe, a complete visual gift for the Visual Arts and the Spectator.

He studied Pure Art at the School of Visual Arts, Cristobal Rojas Caracas, He studied with the Masters Roberto Gozales, Pedro Centeno Vallenilla and Chepin Lopez, he was a member of the Drawing Circle of the Museum of Contemporary Art of Caracas, he was a member of the Fenixart group (Pontevedra - Spain)

ince 1978, he has participated in numerous individual and collective exhibitions, among which we can name the following: Museo Sacro, Venezuela; Cocello de Lalin, Pontevedra- Spain (2012); Ramon Maria Aller Museum (Pontevedra-Spain); Emma Madrid and California Gallery (2014); Caracas Metropolitan University (2016); Simon Rodriguez University, Caracas (2016); Narvaez Porlamar Museum -Venezuela (2016); Fundana Auction, Caracas (2016); Andres Bello Catholic University, Caracas (2017)
To date, she has held individual and group exhibitions in Venezuela, Spain and the United States.
