Andrew Osta is an internationally collected Ukrainian-Canadian painter. His work is currently available in the beautiful colonial city of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, in Ancaster, Ontario, Canada, and in Iquitos, Peru. Andrew's San Miguel studio and gallery, located in the historical central district of San Miguel de Allende, is open by appointment.
Originally from Kiev, Ukraine, Andrew Osta immigrated to Canada in 1994 and has travelled to 4 different continents since. He graduated from the University of Toronto in 2005 and began to show professionally that same year. In 2006, he was invited to participate in his first international art exhibitions. Andrew Osta's intuitive and innovative approach to art caught the attention of Keith Widgor, founder of , who invited Andrew to participate in numerous surrealist exhibitions, between 2006 and 2011.
In 2007-2008, Andrew spent a year exploring South Korea and Japan. In 2008-2009, he worked as a "Healing and Counselling Through Art" youth counsellor with SISO Hamilton, specializing in using art-making to help emotionally troubled refugees.
