Svetlana Sokolova

I was born in Moscow. I spent my childhood and adolescence in Switzerland, the nature of which inspired me to take painting classes, and this inspired me to enter the Moscow Architectural Institute, where at that time there was one of the strongest painting departments in the country. My education at MARHI was the foundation for my subsequent growth as an artist. There I learned to build composition correctly, to feel color, proportions, shadows and other wisdom of drawing and painting.
By experimenting with technology, materials, and my emotions, I achieve a congruence between my perception of reality and the powerful flow of the world ether.
My worldview is deeply intertwined with the numbers, rhythms, and harmony of elements that make up the cosmic whole. At this stage of my life I am most interested in scientific-philosophical, metaphysical and esoteric orientations. All my life skills and knowledge are combined in some amazing way when the creation of another «masterpiece» takes place. A bright thought comes to mind in the form of a bizarre ball of dough.
