Peter Richards

I am a painter working with various non-brush methods of paint application, transfer, and collage since 1999. I also make traditional and digital collages. From 2006-2008, I was director and curator of (SCENE) Metrospace Gallery, an art and performance space in East Lansing, Michigan, USA, where I worked with artists such as Lee Ranaldo, Ryosuke Cohen, Mark Chatterly, and David Lester and Jean Smith of Mecca Normal. Additionally, I work with sound in both a songwriting and sound-design capacity, under the name Stargrazer (acoustic & electric bass-oriented song project) and Lost Leaves (remixing/electronic composition).
