BIO
Stephanie (b. Mexico) is a self-taught Mexican/American contemporary artist. She is renowned for her expressionist landscapes, seamlessly merging elements of nature with abstract forms, offering viewers a profound experience of reflection and imagination. Her artistic signature lies in the dynamic composition of her pieces, crafted through a fusion of color, texture, and layering techniques, culminating in a mesmerizing 'lenticular' effect, which, although challenging to capture on camera, beckons viewers to immerse themselves in her art. Stephanie's portfolio has been part of numerous exhibitions and found homes in private collections across the United States, Mexico, and Europe. Her work has been showcased in venues such as the SFMOMA Artists Gallery and is part of permanent collections at various prestigious institutions, including healthcare, hospitality, and corporate sectors. Notably, she was selected to create a large public sculpture for the SF General Hospital Foundation as part of their renowned Hearts In SF Project.
