I was born and raised in London, UK, where I studied painting at Chelsea School of Art and developed a deep passion for cities. In the late 1990s, I transitioned into digital filmmaking, utilizing moving image sequences to explore urban landscapes. These sequences were featured in live video mixing performances at various urban and moving image festivals across Europe and the UK.

In 2016, I moved to Saigon and completed my creative practice PhD, using moving images to document and visually experiment with the unique urban environment of Saigon. My work often focuses on local areas that remain untouched by tourism and westernization, offering a glimpse into the authentic urban fabric that characterizes many Asian city centers.

My influences are varied and include architects such as Bernard Tschumi, Atelier Bow-Wow, and the early works of Liebeskind and Hadid. Filmmakers like Wim Wenders, David Lynch, Peter Hutton, James Benning, and Leighton Pierce also inspire me. I am particularly fascinated by artists such as Paul Klee, Caravaggio, and Ed Ruscha.
