Susan Benarcik

Susan Benarcik is a sculptor based in Arden, DE. Her sculptural work has been exhibited across the country in sculpture parks, galleries and museums. Benarcik's concern for the environment is made evident in her sculptural installations, assemblage and surface designs. The artists contemplative compositions for interior and exterior application are highly tactile and evocative; evidencing a fondness and respect for honest and simple materials. Part printmaker and part sculptor, Benarcik takes elemental forms of the natural world into her studio and carefully transforms them by stacking, stringing, layering, knotting, and weaving them into dimensional sculpture for public and private spaces.
