Susan Freda is a sculptor who's work is sought after for her deft and boundary crossing use of materials such as glass and wire. She creates intricate and organic works for the collector and for corporate spaces.
She employs form, line and light as vehicles to create ephemeral works that hold the viewer entranced with their ethereal shadow play and quiet sparkle.

Susan received her BFA from the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design and her MFA from Massachusetts College of Art and Design.
She has been the recipient of a Pollock-Krasner Foundation Award, a Rhode Island State Council on the Arts Public Art Grant, A Pilchuck Glass school scholarship and a de Young Museum Artist-in-Residence Award.
Her shoe and dress forms have been presented by Stuart Weitzman, Neiman Marcus, Ferragamo, Gotham of London and by the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art Artists Gallery.
Her work is included in the collection of the Museo Italo Americano of San Francisco, and in numerous private as well as corporate collections. She is represented by may prestigious galleries such as : Gardner Colby Gallery, Jules Place, Lauren Shayne Gallery, Zenith Gallery, Chicago Art Source, Rosenbaum Contemporary Art & Patricia Rovzar Gallery.
