Svetlana K-Liée

Svetlana K-Lièe is a Russian born artist residing in England since 2006. She has been a member of the Union of Artists since 2001, the Prints Department, with the subsequent transition to the Sculpture Department.

She is skilled in various techniques, including bronze, ceramics, etching and paper in graphic art, printmaking, collage and photography. In 2007 she was awarded a second MA in drawing for the top 36 students at the University of the Arts London. Her work has been sold and exhibited internationally and in museums and galleries such as Hermitage and Saatchi Galleries.

She was voted Best Female Artist in 2004 and Best Young Sculptor in 2005. In 2010, she won the best sculpture prize at the Battle Contemporary Fine Art Fair and 3rd RK Harrison Prizes For Art Photography at the National Open Art Competition. One of her sculptures was in the Broomhill National Sculpture Prize 2011 Top Ten Sculpture of the Year. Two of her works, etchings, were selected by the Hermitage Museum for their collection.
