« Art has been with me through my whole life in different forms; there's beauty everywhere, so I search for it and let it affect me. »
Randi Antonsen is a prizewinning Norwegian artist whose paintings have gained international exposure. She was raised in a small Norwegian fishing village surrounded by nature, and decided to move to Oslo to pursue artistic opportunities. Over the last 20 years she has worked as an artist and educator, even opening her own gallery in Inderøy. Painting in acrylics, draw and make prints: Antonsen creates complex semi-abstract works featuring soft color palettes and inventive forms. Her work is vibrant and filled with incredible imaginative energy. You can find her art in many private homes, but also in public places such as hospitals, schools and town halls.
