Inspirations:
Always I have been fascinated with the nature of light, relationships, vulnerability, confusion, madness, family and other animals. I am drawn to knowing the spirit of a place and making work that speaks directly to that experience. The mystery of time and space – and where I fit in. Craft and practice. Water. Loss. Negative space. Desire. Aggressive color / sexy neutrals. The intimacy of a line, the seduction of symbols, freedom and the paint. Bittersweet love with the fragility of life. Confronting myself.
