Tamara Jare

I am a figurative painter. My preferred media is oil on canvas. So, I can achieve bold, strong colours to capture trembling of the light in the forest, colours of the summer bouquet in the late afternoon that will never come back again or the sitter’s image as it was seen at a certain moment of our conversation in the studio. I capture all these images to tell the world is a miracle to see. This is all I strive for.

Tamara Jare is contemporary figurative painter, born in 1962. She lives and works in Ljubljana.
Tamara Jare has exhibited her paintings at curated art shows in the United States, Italy, and Slovenia, and has been featured in prestigious collections and platforms such as Guggenheim, Christie's, Sotheby's and Saatchi Art.
