Hello, and welcome art-lovers! 🎨
I am an artist, muralist, and tattooist, born in Kherson, Ukraine. I have been living in Sweden since 2022, because of war in my country.
I work with graphics (mixed media), painting, digital art, and ceramics. I am a pacifist and an agnostic, and my works use symbolism to explore the inner states of the world and people, with a focus on the impact of war and global issues.
I was invited to be evacuated to Sweden under the program for artists from dangerous regions of Ukraine – Artists at Risk.
Here, curators from the national organization SWAN (Swedish Artist Residency Network) have already supported me and invited me to an artist residency.
Now I live in Sweden, and I have fallen in love with this country, but my heart remains in Ukraine, in my hometown of Kherson—not only because I am Ukrainian but also because my mother is still stayed in the frontline city of Kherson.
For several reasons, she cannot evacuate, and from here, I help her in every way I can.
My work reflects the influence of the world on my inner life, and recently, the war in Ukraine has had a major impact on my art. I try to capture traumatic experiences through symbolism and visual language, where simple forms hold deep me...
Education
• 2008: Graduated from Kherson State Gymnasium №3.
• 2009: Graduated from Kherson Design Lyceum.
• 2011: Kherson State University, Department of Fine Arts.
