I am Tavi Weisz a visual artist living and working in Ottawa, Canada. I moved to Canada from Budapest, Hungary. I post graduated at the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts in Budapest and graduated from the University of Art and Design in Cluj.





Artist Statement


My works are the result of a process of translation, visually filtering an image through my own memories into paint. The paintings are an attempt to project the viewer into an imaginary space and allow them to visually penetrate that space.
