Timothy Forry

I am a storyteller by nature and choose to record my tales through painting. Although, more often than not, I find that ultimately it is the painting that dictates the story.

I am not afraid of vibrant color or letting my process show. I begin with serendipitous splashes of paint or media and build from there, adding figures, patterns and/or recognizable shapes, while remaining open to change based on what the painting demands.

I am drawn to fantasy and otherworldly subjects with sub-themes of environmental concern and the human condition. I often employ archetypes and familiar symbols in my work.
