Tom Furey

Tom is an award winning Contemporary American Bucks County artist who has worked in the district for over forty years.
Aside from a career in the Fine Arts, Tom is also a skilled craftsman who, over the years, has specialized in jewelry design and provided services for many of the local Bucks County jewelry stores. He was also the proprietor of a Pencil Portrait business. Today, he continues to create paintings for private collectors in addition to doing commissions.
Tom married in 1977 and is the proud father of four wonderful children and five beautiful grandchildren.

He studied art at Bucks County Community College and the Maryland Institute of Art. After completing college, he returned to Bristol, Pa. and established an Artist Cooperative with two other local painters named the "Mill Street Studio". The facility served as a working studio for many local artists and was functional for twenty years.
