Tracy Hamer

Paintings and drawings inspired by retro advertising and fashion magazines from the 50s and 60s. Skillful figurative subjects are splashed against abstract backgrounds. Looks of classic seduction and old time glamour stare at the viewer from within a lively backdrop populated by color blocks, drips, dots and lines. In 2000 Tracy set up her art studio in Asia where she lives in Bali, Indonesia with her dog Ramona.

Recent exhibitions include group shows at Wide Open Gallery in 2014, and Positive Negative Gallery (Bali) in 2015. Currently exhibiting at Red Propeller Gallery (UK).
