Umit Turgay Durgun

A sculptor & Graffiti artist from Istanbul Turkey. i Live & work in Carrara, Italy.
I'm always searching for opportunities to realize monumental sculptures, i have such passion for making big art work that people can get close to and connect with its spirit.
I get my inspiration mostly from things that represents everlasting and immortality, you can see that on my designs.
i love the languages of all kinds of materials. I worked with various materials and i usually use 2 different materials on my design depending on the concept and the place of installation.

2012: master degree in carrara fine arts academy in Italy

2004-2010: graduated from marmara university, fuculty of fine arts, sculpture deparmtment, Turkey.

2000-2004: graduated from Macka Akif tuncel anatolyan high-school in plastic arts, Turkey.
