As an artist, I seek to produce colorful work that questions our relationship with life. Holder of a master's degree in art at the Sorbonne in 2017, I am interested in the delicacy of life and its preservation. Starting from scientific stories, I look for images on Instagram to create drawings and paintings, often in square format. After several exhibitions on birds based on participatory science data from the League for the Protection of Birds, I created a 320 x 200 cm work on the Mediterranean.
My oil paintings have a colorful quality created by a search for sensation. The work takes on a changing colorful nature throughout the day as I use fluorescent pigments and gold leaf which react to different lights.
I use ancestral oil painting techniques to remove acrylic from the canvas primer. This gives a unique texture to the canvas and increases the sensation of color. I like works where we can distinguish attention to gesture in relation to form, as in the works of Rembrandt, Velasquez or Manet and in each work, I seek to get closer to this gesture.
I have exhibited in Paris, Cannes and Banyuls-sur-Mer. My works have been purchased in France, England and the United States.
