Jani Vallentimi

For her, art is an outlet for her emotional world, which Jani Vallentimi has used since childhood. In this way she immerses herself in a sunny, colourful world and absorbs ideas, inspirations and impressions. Vallentimi's paintings are created both intuitively, as an expression of experimental creativity, and realistically, filled with messages and positive thoughts. She is fascinated by images of women, typography and nature, giving her imagination the direction that finds visual expression in her paintings. She works in a versatile way, but always concentrates in her paintings on the play of colours and their execution.

In Vallentimi's works, dreamy and minimalist surfaces alternate, giving vividness and expressiveness to the paintings. To create her profound surfaces, the artist applies paint to the canvas in layers using a broad brush, a squeegee, or her fingers. She works out the details with various media such as oil pastels, graphite pencils, acrylic markers and acrylic inks.

In addition to her exhibition activities, Jani Vallentimi participates in workshops and art projects. Her works are represented in international private collections.
