Vicki Stavrou

I am an artist living in the beautiful northern rivers of NSW, Australia. My main passion is abstract landscapes although occasionally I paint something unusual relating to pop culture. I love to paint interesting shapes, bright colours, something that's unique, innocent and fun. I like to tell a story within the colours and shapes that's a little bit quirky but also peaceful and still. Part of my art practice is plein air in the beautiful northern rivers area telling a story of the diversity, colours and shapes of this region. I am represented in Pack Gallery in Bangalow, NSW, and also show work in Art Aspects Gallery, Lismore, NSW, Cactus Hill Project. This coming Xmas I have an upcoming solo exhibition at the Tweed Regional Gallery/Margaret Olley Centre, Murwillumbah. COMMISSIONS WELCOME.

Working as a casual abackground scenic artist for Walt Disney Studios. Also working as a casual background scenic artist for ABC TV. Numerous murals in Sydney, including Trompe L'eoil.
