Virginia Armand Ugon

I was borned in Uruguay, where I currently live. As an artist, I started with drawings, but in my constant serch I explored very diferents languages like ceramics, painting, engraving and sculpture. I have studied art with great masters of this country like Osorio, Peralta or Pilar Gonzalez. I also studied ceramics during several years. Currently, I have my own workshop in a city near Montevideo. I like to participate in collectives of work where I use the art as a tool to social proyects. Besides artist, I am a social psychologist and teacher

• Attends Workshop Artist José Pelayo making sculpture and painting. 2014 to date.
• Participate Workshop painting and engraving with the plastic artist Pedro Peralta. 2010-2013.
• Received from Expresiva Workshop leader to educate and re-creating from the artistic resource - plastic Workshop artistic development Berro House. From 2007 to 2008.
• She studied drawing with plastic artist Pilar Gonzalez (2004).
• She studied drawing with plastic artist Rogelio Osorio (2003).
• She studied drawing with plastic artist Courtoisie Margarita (2002).
• He studied ceramics with the ceramist Perotti Marcello in the Keramicos workshop (2000 to 2005).
• He studied drawing and painting with Lic. Juan Cerizola Fine Arts.

Individual exhibitions:
 In July -August 2015 she exposes "Resilient", sculptures in wood and iron, in the Central Café de Montevideo.
 In March 2015 she exposes "Presences", paintings, in the Urban Cultural Center of the Ministry of Education and Culture.
 In November 2014 she exposes in the Hall of Costa Urbana Civic Center, paintings and sculptures along with the creations of children from a Kindergarden and closure of joint work with that institution. The show was called "Share your art".
 In March 2014 on the occasion of the month of women she exposes paintings at the YMCA Center called "Presences"
 In June 2011 she exhibits sculptures and drawings under the title of "Mutations" in the Tile Museum.
 In June-July 2010 she exhibits drawings called "Alicia's eyes" in Freedom House Art books- "which exposes graphite drawings and watercolors.
 In March 2010 she exposes sculptures at the Museum of Art History of Montevideo, under the name of "Empathy, women in time" within the framework of the activities of the month of women in the Municipality of Montevideo.
 In September 2008 she makes the exhibition "Body, Memory, Sensations II" in the Golden Hall of the Argentine Hotel of Piriápolis.
