So, the biography:

Vitali Mikhailov was born in the Soviet Union on October 25, 1969. Vitali is married; he and his wife Marina have two children Anastasia and Pavel. As with any proud father, Vitali enjoys his children and they bring great joy to him.

During his youth, his teachers noted a unique artistic talent displayed in the everyday homework illustrations, which were self-motivated.

Vitali enrolled in the Moscow University of Art. He received his undergraduate degree and secured a diploma in easel painting and graphic design. He then furthered his education by enrolling the full-time tuition in the Kharkov Art and Industrial Institute where he specialized in restoration and easel art painting, which he graduated with honors. He received an appointment to the postgraduate course of Kyiv University, but because of family circumstances Vitali had to delay this opportunity. Never stop developing his talent to paint, creating his unique art-works, Mikhailov has always been possessing orders to restore icons, antique paintings, frames and other artworks.
Restorer Vitali Mikhailov recreates original shape of object without depending on it’s condition, adding no novelty, not creating it over again but reconstructing the lost. Materials used in restoration are similar those that being used by author.
