Vladimir Ilievski

Vladimir Ilievski (1989,) is visual artist whose main occupation is painting. Graduated at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Skopje in 2012, painting department, in the class of Velo Tashovski, Sveto Manev and Blagoja Manevski. His art, in terms of subject is mainly figurative, but containing the visual and spirit that make an artwork painterly, technically and emotionally-valuable, and at the same time it transmits part of the inner psychological segments of the artist, but also of the outer circumstances, current or permanent. Not caring too much about the thematic orientation, Ilievski in his paintings brings different themes. From the simplest painted fields, to characters, portraits and scenes with figures, from grim depictions of characters, to overexposed joyful landscapes. And all of these are connected with few things, like dynamics, energy, and rhythm of the strokes. Of the several series of paintings, we can point the latest cycles of Ilievski, containing figures of animals in high dynamics and landscapes with accentuated light, energy and movement into them.
