I started using art as a distraction and a way to fill the empty hours after my daughter passed away on her 20th Birthday. My dear friend Audrey showed me the basics and I have enjoyed experimenting ever since. I find the amazing colours promote creativity and give me an inner peace

My work is abstract in nature and uses a bold and vivid colour range. The "˜Akinyi' artwork in particular is a mystical representation of a sunrise, looking beyond the typical view of a beautiful sunrise and giving a more in depth, emotional view of the colours which might be hidden amongst the light and clouds when taking a much closer look.

As well as my abstract art, i make jewellery and gift cards from recycled art and i recycle jewellery using polymer clay.
