William Chargin

Hello, I began studying watercolor in 1969 at San Jose State University School of Art under Eric Oback. I continued on in my career of illustration and design to Silicon Valley companies for many years until I returned to watercolors exclusively over the last 8 years.

Each one of my works reflects my many moods in a contemporary setting. My work can be impressionistic or realistic depending on the story I tell. As an illustrator I believe an artist must be flexible in his technique and as Eric Oback encouraged me "Think out of the box".

Watercolor to me is truly "Life on the Edge" I hope you enjoy my work and leave a comment.
