Painting is about responding to the world around us, exploring the positive and negative sometimes a collision of both. Abstraction helps me to delve into the hazy world of recollection, distant memories built up in layers of form and colour. The predominant use of primary colour and intuition interprets a once held innocence that can now only be experienced through our children's eyes.
