Susan Kedzie

I am artist and ecologist currently enjoying the farm-life in Northern Minnesota. I paint for the local theater, teach art through the Headwaters School of Music and the Arts and in my own studio (coming soon).

Currently I am illustrating my first children's book scheduled to be published in 2017 with Orange Hat Publishing.

I have a variety of interests that keep me busy, and mostly out of trouble.

I studied biology and ecology for Bachelor's (University of Wisconsin-Madison) and Master's Degrees (Montana State University) with an interest in becoming a Natural History Illustrator. But then...I fell in LOVE with drawing the human figure while taking classes at the University of Alaska-Anchorage.

Although I have taken art classes at the University level, I am mostly self-taught.
