During my childhood, I spent much time alone, as my mother had to work to support us. In those moments of solitude, I would create farms full of small animals and fantasize for hours. This was the origin of my creative process, a game that I continue to enjoy to this day. Childhood is our homeland, and I return to it whenever I feel lost. There were many stages in my life when I turned my back on art, but it always resurfaced within me, uncontrollably, like a fresh spring to which I surrendered. A few years ago, I decided to make art the center of my life, and it was the best decision I ever made. I pursued academic training and was blessed to meet a beloved mentor, Armando Villegas (RIP), who believed in me, gave me confidence, and, in the last years of his life, encouraged me not to give up on this passion.
I enjoy using professional-quality materials and experimenting with them; as a result, I have developed a personal technique in painting and drawing, creating a distinctive style that combines the abstract with the representational.
