Yasaman Mollasalehi

Yasaman Mollasalehi is a Manchester-based painter whose work explores the fluid and ever-shifting nature of memory and time. Influenced by Persian miniatures, architecture, nature, and personal experiences, her art bridges cultural boundaries to create a deeply resonant visual language.

Through her meticulous process, Yasaman builds layers of oil paint, washes away sections with turpentine and oil, and reimagines the composition anew. This method mirrors the ephemeral quality of memory while capturing moments of beauty and resilience in the human journey.

Her paintings serve as a meditative space, balancing the material with the emotional and inviting viewers to reflect on the connections that unite us all. Yasaman’s art is a celebration of shared experiences, offering a universal sense of wonder and connection.
