Yasemin Akturk

Yasemin Akturk, originally from Turkey and now based in Berlin, seamlessly blends her diverse background with her passion for contemporary art. With a master's degree in computer science, Yasemin's journey into the world of art began during her university years in Istanbul, where she pursued additional courses in drawing. Further enriching her skills, she sought inspiration in the artistic hub of Florence.

Starting with mediums like charcoal and gouache, Yasemin's artistic exploration soon expanded to encompass the rich textures of oil and acrylic paints. Her canvas became a reflection of her experiences, initially capturing memories from her global backpacking adventures before delving into the intricate nuances of human emotion.

Today, Yasemin's art serves as a visual diary of her personal odyssey, inviting viewers to embark on a journey of introspection. Through her expressive brushstrokes, she offers a glimpse into the universal language of art that transcends boundaries and resonates with audiences worldwide.
