Yolanda Shashaty

I am a New York painter with a studio in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. I paint otherworldly landscapes and abstraction using atmospheric color, imagery and space to describe the macrocosm (oceans, the universe) and the microcosm of cells and molecules. I paint oil sketches on canvas paper, then transfer them to larger canvases - ranging in size from 16" x 20' to 44" x 66". My work has been shown in New York, Washington, D.C., Ohio and Connecticut and is included in such corporate collections as AT&T and Exxon Mobil.
