Zabé, is a French contemporary mixed-media artist who is based in Los Angeles. Growing up in Normandy, France, Zabé's home was a creative haven full of arts and craft supplies. Experimenting with different mediums became a method for Zabé to communicate her ideas and quickly turned into a lifelong passion. After 30 years of learning and exploring different materials, you can now find Zabé creating art at her beautiful home studio in Marina Del Rey.

Zabé's distinctive mixed media approach combines collage and acrylic painting, resulting in striking and evocative artwork. She expertly incorporates abstract paper collage into the background of her paintings, which creates a foundation for the subject painted above. By layering colors, textures, shapes, and transparencies, Zabé shows the emotion and sensation behind the subject matter, revealing a double meaning in her work.
