Ztwins Crew

Born in Belgorod, Russia.
Now work and live in Saint-Petersburg.
In 2014, after rethinking the whole creative path, we came up with the name ZTWINS. Hence a new stage began, we started working together. Before that, since 2007, we have been working under separate pseudonyms. It was the time of experiments and active searching, of making classical graffiti, its typical characters. Now in our works we depict the architectural and industrial aesthetics, we weave it all with geometric abstractions, we are not afraid of experimenting. Architecture taught us to pay attention to the context. Before working we constantly explore sites: we go, look for a place, choose a wall, observe the environment. So our artworks usually correlate with the context of the place. In many cases, ‘locus’ sets the dynamics and overall feeling of work.
