Constanta Ferentz

My name is Constanta and I am a Romanian artist.
My photography journey started when I first travelled around Europe and took basic pictures with my phone, capturing various scenarios. Soon after, I discovered image sites such as Getty Images or Shutter Stock. I remember being mesmerised to see how a simple picture could communicate such sadness, such power and such emotion. That was the moment I realized that I want to become a photographer.
I have an artistic eye, but sadly not an artist’s hands. I am not able to draw or paint in any way that comes even close to the art I can create with my camera. However, it is photography that satiates my craving to create.
I am naturally attracted to nature, street, portraits and boudoir photography and my ambition is to become a nude photographer not only here, but also overseas.

My pursuit of a career in photography led naturally to me applying to study a photography course for 6 months with Bogdan Petrice, art director and photographer at Touch Magazine in Bucharest. Later on, I wanted to take it one step further, so I studied a master camera taught by Mark Hemmings, an internationally recognized photographer and photography instructor.
