Some might call it art.
Creative DIGBY enables me an outlet for my thoughts, ideas, and random visions - a way for me to explore, learn, connect, and create.
While I bring creativity to my professional career in insurance, business and trusteeship, that work exists within corporate and commercial frameworks and has some limits to its flexibility.
Over the past 18 years my creative practice has allowed me to learn, earn, meet new people and watch my own thoughts unfold, develop and change. I like to think of myself as a traditionalist who likes trying new things... An eclectic range of interests, sometimes contradictory and including Star Wars.
Working across photography, painting, and concept-led projects, my interests draw on playfulness, strong and enduring characters, ideas of the ancient meeting the future and a long-standing fascination with origin, purpose, and belief: how we search for meaning, how myth and religion shape our idea of truth, the truths we tell ourselves - and those we offer to others - and how willingly we live with unanswered questions.
