Moisés Hernández

I am an artist specializing in graphite portraits, wildlife art, and mixed media pieces that combine realism with expressive detail. My work often focuses on capturing emotion through subtle shading, textures, and careful observation.

I create original drawings on Bristol board and high-quality paper, using graphite pencils. I also create drawings using charcoal, and watercolor pencil and ink. Many of my pieces feature writers, cultural icons, and wildlife subjects, and fanart all rendered with meticulous hatch marks and fine detail.

My mission is simple: to create art that feels personal, intimate, and alive—whether it’s a custom portrait or a collectible print.

I am especially drawn to faces and figures because they carry poetry within them. A glance, a shadow, or a gesture can reveal fragility, strength, nostalgia, or power. My aim is to honor those moments and invite viewers to pause, connect, and feel something real.
