Serdar Akdeniz is a contemporary visual artist working through surface, time, and transformation. His works begin with hand-drawn structures that are not preserved, but gradually altered through layered processes where physical and digital interventions intersect.
Time, in these works, is not linear but accumulative. It does not pass; it acts. Surface becomes the place where this action is made visible. What appears as erosion or decay is approached not as loss, but as a form of maturation — a slow emergence of complexity and depth.
Rather than depicting landscape, the works exist as surfaces shaped by time, where forms dissolve, shift, and reconfigure. Each piece is produced as a limited edition archival print, carrying the trace of an image that is formed through change.
Further works and writings are available through Minimal Poise, the artist’s website.
