Andrea Renee Harrison

As a child, I spent many years surrounded by the majestic scenery of America’s national parks. My grandmother was an illustrator, my mother and sisters are artists, and my father is a sculptor. For me, painting is an essential part of everyday life.

My artwork is mostly influenced by daily interaction with nature and animals. I paint exclusively in oil on fine linen canvas, always aiming to create new and beautiful “surprises”.

As someone with mild dyslexia, I particularly admire the life and works of Leonardo Da Vinci, who is widely believed to have struggled with the same issue. I am also greatly inspired by frequent visits to galleries and museums to learn more and receive wisdom from the great masters of the past.
