Mafalda D’Eça,
Born in Vera Cruz, Aveiro, Portugal.
She is a professional portuguese artist, and has a 25 years arts course connected to Art, Antiques and Restauration.
Inspires herself in the Cosmos, Nature, Animals, and works with all types of materials and raw materials that varies from plastics to glass, wood, stone, plaster, cement, lights, leds, brass, aluminum, clay, porcelain, etc, as well as all types of artistic mediums and paints.
Recycles, transforms, creates and recreates artistic pieces through painting, sculpting, art objects, installation, which are highlighted by vivid and pure colors, transparencies, for the textures, unlikely forms and also through the pasting that varies from photographs, or symbolic objects. Strives for originality and innovation.
Her art fits in abstract geometry, to new figuration.
Never satisfied, she permanently recreates herself, searching for a way to transmit messages and dialogues with the purest essence of life, with na expressive truth that is only hers, which is already known and admirable.she lives for art and art is her life !.

MAFALDA D'EÇA
Born in Vera Cruz, Aveiro, Portugal.
Graduated in Painting and Sculpture at the School of Arts and Design Caldas da Rainha in 1993.
Attended the Foundation Ricardo do Espírito Santo Silva (1993-94), specializing in restoration (carvings, furniture, gilding, religious images, porcelain, glass, terracotta, painting and sculpture) and the National Society of Fine Arts, Lisbon (1998-2000), in the area of drawing and painting.
She participated in over 270 individual and collective exhibitions, both national and international.
Currently, is represented in collections in several countries (Portugal, Spain, Angola, Mozambique, South Africa, E.U.A, Italy, Australia, France, Holland, Brazil, Moldavia, Ukraine, India and Russia).
She was a visual arts and restoration teacher as well as Director and Coordinator of “Galeria de Arte Mafalda D'Eça” (Owner) ,“ArtEmotion Gallery” and “World Legend Auctioneer”.
She received an Honorable Mention at the following events: "Estoril Summer Fun"(C.C.E), "Mértolarte" (Casa das Artes Mário Elias), "2016 Innovation Award" (MAC Gallery), Sculpture Award at X Bienal Salão das Artes da Vidigueira.
Moreover, is represented in the book "Quotation of Portuguese art...
