Olga Fomina

By day, I am a psychologist, and by night, an artist. I work in a charitable foundation, providing counseling to people who have suffered from violence and to those who were forced to leave their homes in eastern Ukraine and relocate to my hometown because of the war. I come from the very heart of Ukraine.
What I can say about myself is that I cannot live without painting. I create artworks every evening — it is my resource, the thing that fills me with energy. I work with various materials: epoxy resin, alcohol inks, texture paste, acrylic paints, and much more.
I also run an art studio, where on weekends I hold masterclasses and art therapy sessions. I see how much people in our country need this now — it helps them cope with the stress we all have to live with today. I am grateful that I can create something beautiful and help others create their own masterpieces as well.

I have two higher education degrees: a lawyer and a master’s degree in psychology.
