EXHIBITIONS

Javier Gamboa was born in Coronel Bogado on July 30, 1971. He Studied painting in the Gallery Rosarte and began studying Fine Arts at the National University of Rosario in 1997. His experience at that time includes painting murals in churches, schools and other commercial premises in his hometown and within the city of Rosario. He also illustrated a self-published book, Internal Affairs, by Fernando Tain.
He traveled extensively through Latin America and in 1998 settled in Costa Rica, where he worked on such varied projects as murals, children's books illustration and poster design for environmental education initiatives at ZooAve Zoological Park, Alajuela. The murals were designed for a wide spectrum of audiences including a Franciscan convent, commercial shops, hotels, motels, restaurants and private residences.
In 2001 he travelled to Europe, painting murals in Spain and Italy. After settling in Cordoba, Spain, he studied at the School of Arts and Crafts, Dionisio Ortiz learning the details of casting and molding. During this period, he participated in several exhibitions among which several are worth mention including: Eutopia 2004 held at the Diputacion of Cordoba, Gallery Espacio Rojo and Gallery Tulaprint among others....

Work experience giving courses:
Monitor of the program of recluses' reintegration "Reincorporate" on decorative paintings and muralism, duration 300 hours in 2012. Organized in the Social Integration Centre of Cordova for the Foundation “La Caixa ”.
Monitor of the professional training course sponsored by the government of Andalusia on:
Ceramic mural and molds, duration 200 hours in 2010.
Enlightenment and muralism, duration 300 hours in 2008 and 2009.
Digital finishing touch in Photoshop and scanning of images, duration 300 hours in 2007. Organized by Inclusive Community Center in the Detention center of Cordova.

Work experience in participatory murals:
“Opening and celebration of the International Day of the Environment”, Cordova Zoo.
Association Family Gardens of Cordova and “The Quixotic” in Fuencaliente, Castile “La Mancha” in 2008 and 2009.
“The sport in the comic” in the main comical theater of Cordova.
“Day of the road education” in the Park “The Walk of Victoria”, “22th and 23th conference for the peace” in the street Marbella in the south sector of Cordova.
