Frederick George Davis. F G Davis, "George" is an artist now living between his homes in Devon and the South of France. Starting from humble beginnings in the North of England in the 1940's, he has risen, via his notable legacy continuous exhibiting, as well as expertise in art teaching, to be recognised by many as an important contributor to the post modern tapestry of contemporary art in the UK. Davis has exhibited widely in the UK and internationally and has work in private collections worldwide. His extensive CV of exhibitions covers over forty years, and his work is noted for his innovative use of mixed media and his exceptional ability to combine colour, texture and form to produce exceptionally beautifully envisioned and constructed, memorable and impactful artwork.
