My artistic voice is marked by a very bold and vibrant pop-graffiti fusion, heavily influenced by the pop art of the 60s and 70s, as well as street art aesthetics. My main technical approach is mix-media art, with intense use of high-contrast saturated colors and well-defined shapes mixed with incomplete shapes and semi-transparent areas, partially displayed vintage images and fragments of graffiti lettering, reminiscent of old walls that have accumulated layers and layers of advertisements, posters, paint and graffiti over time. By mixing disparate elements I aim to make the impact of something that feels both fresh and timeless, infusing my art with a sense of nostalgia, while at the same time making it feel current and relevant. As an artist, I try to create works that are visually stunning and intellectually engaging, seeking to bring joy and contentment in a celebration of life, as a reminder to embrace the moment and find beauty even in the least likely of environments.
