I began to be known by drawing erotic artwork as a hobby and uploading them to SNS. The beginning was drawing erotic artworks as a hobby and sharing it on SNS from 2013. By collecting those artworks, I participated in the Art Book Fair, ‘Unlimited Audition’, by self-publishing ‘A cute, erotic, and useless picture book’ in 2014. With these activities, I officially published the book ‘Everyone’s Love’ in 2016 and began my career as an illustrator. As a female artist who focuses on the themes of love and sex between men and women, I have garnered support, especially from women in their 20s and 30s. My motto is, “Sex with a loved one is natural, and I find joy in depicting that natural aspect through art. If I had cared about others’ opinions, I would have never started.” I continue to create art with a consistent attitude, even in a conservative Korean society when it comes to sexual matters. This has earned me positive recognition as I represent the desires of repressed Korean women. In the early days, my work primarily consisted of line drawings, but recently, I’ve been experimenting with various techniques such as acrylic painting and digital art. Using soft curves, I depict the beauty of the human body and occasionally employ omission to stimulate imagination and curiosity in my artwork. Just as there are 100 different forms of love among 100 couples, I evoke nostalgia and empathy in lovers through both romantic and playful, sometimes even provocative expressions. I have continued my diverse activities in various fields without being confined to a specific genre, including illustration, webcomics, publishing, and collaborations.
