About The Artwork
I am drawn to various mythologies. Here Dionysus represents and reflects the masculine within me which I sought out in order to understand my healing journey and uncovering the layers of different identities I carry within myself. Where madness and ecstasy encompasses all of our existential needs. I drew inspiration of the figure from a statue I spotted once and begin sketching what I saw around it.
